Climate Policy Radar is an independent non-profit building open, credible data infrastructure and AI-powered tools for climate, nature, and development action. Our data and tools help governments, researchers, international organisations, civil society, and the private sector to understand and advance effective climate policies and deploy climate finance. Harnessing data science and AI – including pioneering applications of natural language processing in this field – we make previously unstructured, siloed data easier to find, understand, and act on.

We are a team of policy experts, engineers, data scientists, product thinkers, communicators, and operators. We care deeply about how we work – our values, culture, and ways of collaborating – as well as what we build. As part of that, we have embraced a flexible, hybrid approach to work, including a four-day workweek.

This is a permanent role supporting our Founder/CEO, designed to protect and multiply the scarce resource that is her time. You will own the diary, inbox, travel, and logistics, prepare the CEO for every meeting, and produce and assemble high-quality written material to a senior standard. You will interact regularly with senior funders, multilateral institutions, board members, partners, and team members, so discretion and a sure touch are essential.

This role is split roughly 60–70% traditional EA support, with the remaining 30–40% spent on broader work - supporting external events (including our attendance at global climate summits), general operations, office support and special projects.

  • Own and actively manage the CEO's calendar, prioritising ruthlessly against shifting demands and protecting focused time.
  • Run inbox triage and correspondence, drafting on the CEO's behalf where appropriate.
  • Coordinate complex international travel and the logistics around conferences, summits, and external events.
  • Draft, edit, and assemble briefs, decks, and correspondence to a standard that is immediately credible to funders and board members.
  • Track the CEO's commitments and follow-ups, and keep them moving.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact between the CEO and internal colleagues, funders, and partners.
  • Flex into ad hoc priorities as CPR's needs shift, bringing the same judgement and reliability to unfamiliar tasks as to the familiar ones.

3-6 years experience as an EA / executive business partner or similar role, ideally supporting a founder or CEO.

Strong written English and a feel for register: you can draft something that reads as though the CEO wrote it.

A deep commitment to employee wellbeing, including policies such as 4 day workweek (same pay, Fridays off), unlimited annual leave, and a wellbeing allowance.

A vibrant, collaborative, empathetic work culture that thrives on innovation and the impact of our work.

Hybrid work environment (2 days a week) in London, currently at TechSpace in Goswell Road. We welcome conversations about flexibility and remote work to accommodate individual needs.

If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation during the process of application and selection, please let us know.

1 hour behavioural interview with Head of People and COO (remote).

1 hour behavioural interview with our CEO (ideally in person).
