As Client Solutions Director for Europe & RoW, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success and climate impact across a strategically important region. You will be accountable for leading the Client Solutions team to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets, ensuring consistent, high‐quality performance during a critical phase of organisational transformation.

Alongside revenue delivery, you will shape and embed a high‐performance, client‐centric culture—coaching and developing a talented team to originate, nurture and close complex deals with both existing and new corporate clients. Leveraging your deep expertise in the voluntary carbon market, you will guide clients in designing and implementing impactful carbon offsetting strategies, positioning Climate Impact Partners as a trusted, best‐in‐class partner.

Working cross‐functionally with internal stakeholders and closely with clients across diverse sectors, you will strengthen strategic relationships, identify growth opportunities and navigate market complexities to deliver scalable, long‐term value. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader with strong strategic acumen, a track record of scaling sales teams, and a passion for delivering meaningful climate impact through high‐integrity carbon solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Contribute towards and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve growth targets, market expansion and revenue diversification, ensuring customer success and revenue growth in the region. Manage and drive achievement of KPI's, and where achievement falls short, create remedial action plans for improvement, or to respond to market changes. Utilise market intelligence to drive informed decision‐making and adaptation of sales strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Build and lead a high‐performing regional team, fostering a collaborative and results‐driven culture, ensuring profitability targets are met to scale impact. Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to ensure the professional development of team members, working with HR to ensure training is in place. Align the team with the company's vision and values, fostering a sense of shared purpose.
  • Market Insight & Go‐To‐Market Strategy: Monitor market trends, market opportunities, competitive landscape and customer needs to inform and refine the overall go‐to‐market strategy in the climate solutions space. Utilise data‐driven insights to analyse sales performance, identify trends and make informed recommendations for improvement.
  • Sales Operations & Process Excellence: In collaboration with the Sales Operations function, lead and guide the regional team to ensure streamlined and efficient processes. Develop and implement best practices for sales operations to enhance productivity and accelerate deal cycles. Establish and maintain operational excellence, driving continuous improvement.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively network across the VCM market to build the Climate Impact Partner brand and grow strategic relationships in the region. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients and partners.
  • Cross‐Functional Collaboration & Commercial Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams, including Global Director of Project Development, Director of Product Development, and the Global Director of Supply Chain, to ensure seamless communication and execution of business objectives, across product and supply. Partner with Marketing to ensure strategic marketing and outbound activity is aligned to regional sales strategy and customer segmentation. Collaborate with Commercial team to shape pricing strategies for best commercial outcomes.

What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience in a senior business development leadership role, preferably within the environmental or sustainability sector.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, expanding market share and leading strategic initiatives in regional or international markets.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high‐performing teams.
  • A continuous track record of hitting and exceeding targets is critical, combined with strong influencing skills.
  • Structured key account management leadership skills.
  • A track record of driving fast growth in a B2B market with the ability to develop opportunities and relationships to drive growth across a technical industry.
  • Dedicated to providing best‐in‐class services to clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to travel within the EMEA & UK&I region as needed.
  • In‐depth knowledge of the carbon markets, sustainability or related fields is highly desirable.
