The Climate Change Committee (CCC) is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Assistant HR Business Partner to join us during an exciting period of transformation. This is no ordinary HR role. For six months, you’ll be at the heart of a major change programme as we transition to a new Shared Service Provider for HR, payroll and finance.

Working closely with our HR Business Partner, you’ll help shape, refine and embed policies and processes that support our talented workforce ensuring everything aligns with Civil Service best practice and our organisational values. You’ll dive into policy rewriting and review, refresh guidance documents and templates, and help communicate changes across the organisation through briefings and training. You’ll also support process mapping, maintain key workforce data and provide insight to senior leaders.

After the transition, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting strategic people initiatives, from shaping elements of our people strategy to supporting pay flexibility work. We’re a small, collaborative team, so variety is guaranteed. One day you might be analysing workforce data; the next, supporting recruitment or contributing to a strategic HR project.

We’re looking for someone highly organised, analytical and confident in written communication, with a solid understanding of employment legislation and CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or Associate membership). In return, you’ll join a mission-driven organisation committed to tackling climate change, where development, inclusion and flexible working are taken seriously.

The CCC have partnered with Archer Mac on this exciting opportunity. Please do reach out to stephanie.robinson@archermac.co.uk or 07513 221028 for an informal conversation and details on how to apply.
