Role Overview
Join our team as a seasoned Resilience Taxonomy Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave! In this role, you will spearhead the continuous development and execution of the Climate Bonds Resilience Taxonomy (CBRT), which serves as a vital framework for steering investments towards Climate Adaptation and Resilience (A&R).
How you'll contribute:
- Champion the CBRT Development – Take the reins in enhancing and updating the CBRT each year. Your role will involve crafting intuitive guidance and tools while also putting in place internal systems to ensure the taxonomy remains well‑maintained.
- Lead the Resilience Taxonomy Advisory Group (RTAG) – Foster collaboration, spearhead strategic conversations, and ensure that expert insights meticulously craft the taxonomy, while positioning RTAG as a vibrant community of practice dedicated to championing the adoption of the CBRT.
- Oversee Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) – Coordinate consultants, technical partners, and stakeholders to produce quality outputs. Guide Resilience Taxonomy Coordinators and manage anchor partners and workplans for each TWG.
- Support integration – Collaborate with Climate Bonds teams to incorporate CBRT into national frameworks, investment frameworks, market tracking, and financial regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Cultivate strong partnerships with financial institutions, investors, government entities, and multilateral organisations to ensure continuous feedback and validation of the taxonomy for applicable use cases.
- Keep an eye on policy and market dynamics – Be proactive in tracking new policy trends and leading practices in adaptation and resilience finance.
- Funding and Resourcing – Champion our fundraising initiatives and assist with grant applications to ensure a sustainable future for CBRT development.
