  • Create a compelling event value proposition to attract high‑level speakers, sponsors, key partners and the target audience, to be delivered through sponsorship and marketing briefs
  • Conduct in‑depth research on market trends, competitor landscapes and industry challenges, and translate this research into commercially attractive agendas, including session content, interviewers, speaker scripts and production briefs
  • Ensure a timely delivery of events, with accurate milestone tracking, that achieve set KPIs/goals. This includes the management of onsite event execution and post‑event analysis and reporting
  • Support the Commercial team by coordinating sponsorship participation, and establishing content and speaker inventories to support revenue targets
  • Design and implement strategies for audience acquisition and engagement
  • Work with marketing to keep event websites up to date with speakers, partners, sessions and key information
  • Write promotional copy for marketing campaigns and editorial content
  • Keep your finger on the pulse by researching and validating new topics throughout the year to identify new timely launches

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in creating, managing and delivering international B2B conferences funded by sponsorship and delegate or membership revenue streams; ideally in sustainability, climate change, energy or agriculture
  • Events are fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments – you can adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities with ease
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented and organised; able to work independently to deliver tasks and achieve project objectives
  • Experience in a single market sector, including evidence of strong relationships with key players across the industry (e.g., sustainable innovation, energy transition, investment, hydrogen, supply chains and climate policy)
