About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic team member to support the account management of our partnerships. A key part of this role will involve liaising with partners to ensure expectations are managed and deliverables are completed to a high standard. The successful candidate will enjoy and be confident in communicating and engaging with people over the telephone. Excellent communications skills are required along with an interest in climate change and sustainable innovation would also be a major advantage.
You will work closely with conference producers, marketing, sales and operations departments ensuring that the events are a success, the target audience is delivered, and our partners' expectations are met. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands‐on experience from working on a number of high‐profile international events attended by senior representatives of regional governments, UN agencies, international and regional NGOs, investors and donors, research institutes and solution providers.
We are seeking an individual who has a minimum of four years within their career history of duties and responsibilities in an account management, operations, or sales department with a commercial conference or exhibition organizer.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Account management for key clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Conduct onboarding calls with partners
- Create and maintain campaign trackers, outlining deliverables and deadlines
- Create and update key resources and collateral for partners including media packs, tracking links
- Liaise with partners to ensure they are meeting their contractual obligations
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to deliver outstanding client satisfaction
- Create partnership agreements for flagship events – based on templates
- Maintain accurate records of client contact details and engagement
- Collate and distribute inbound leads
- Stay up to date with relevant news and information on key accounts
Requirements
- A minimum of four years in an account management, operations, or sales department with a commercial conference or exhibition organizer
- Passion for sustainability (desirable but not essential)
- Proficient CRM skills
- Immediate / ASAP start – please indicate your notice / availability
