Climate Action was founded in 2007 and has been working at the intersection of climate change policy, innovation, and finance. We do this by creating complex, high-impact hybrid and digital events, engaging with our 140,000 members globally. We partner with an incredible ecosystem of 1,000 impact partners, UN Agencies, and private sector companies. We are a commercial business with a clear mission: to drive meaningful climate progress through the work we convene. Joining us means contributing to that impact.

Role Purpose: To provide reliable, proactive support to the CEO and wider business, helping keep day-to-day operations organised, efficient and running smoothly.

About the Role: This is not a traditional corporate EA role supporting a large board of directors. Instead, it’s a varied, hands-on role in a growing company where you’ll work closely with the CEO while also helping support the wider business day to day. One moment you might be managing schedules, helping prepare presentations or organising travel. The next, you could be coordinating onboarding, helping run a client dinner, improving internal processes or making sure the office runs smoothly. We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and likes being the person people rely on to keep things organised and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities: Include but not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the CEO, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel and general administration.
  • Support the wider leadership team with ad hoc business administration and coordination.
  • Help keep the office organized and running smoothly (WeWork) acting as a central point of support across the business.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new starters, including IT setup, inductions and team coordination.
  • Organise internal events, team activities, client dinners and small roundtables.
  • Create and maintain internal resources and documentation using SharePoint and Microsoft 365. Prepare presentations, templates and branded materials using PowerPoint, Canva or similar tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, organisation and ways of working across the company.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Team Assistant, or Business Support role.
  • Strong organisational skills through event management experience.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Able to use Canva or similar design tools and comfortable learning new software quickly.
  • Experience of supporting a sales team and/or HR function is highly desirable.
  • Due to the nature of this role, the ability to work full time in our London Victoria WeWork offices.

Interview Process: The process is typically a Teams Video call, followed by a F2F interview with our Head of People & Culture, Shazia Khokhar, and finally to meet our CEO/Founder Nick Henry.

Benefits:

  • Salary IRO: £38,000 - £42,000
  • Generous and achievable bonus scheme.
  • Opportunity to work with globally recognised sustainability and climate leaders.
  • Join a rapidly growing, mission-led company, making a positive impact on our planet.
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • An additional day’s leave to celebrate your birthday.
  • 5 days in our Victoria WeWork offices.
  • There will be, on occasion, opportunities to work remote.
  • Ethical pension plan with 3% employers’ contribution.
  • WeWork wellbeing benefits such as yoga sessions and meditation, Barista, community bar, table tennis, showers, and ability to bring your pet to work.
  • Benenden Health Scheme.
