About the role: We are looking for a dynamic team member to support the account management of our partnerships. A key part of this role will involve liaising with partners to ensure expectations are managed and deliverables are completed to a high standard. The successful candidate will enjoy and be confident in communicating and engaging with people over the telephone. Excellent communication skills are required, along with an interest in climate change and sustainable innovation, which would also be a major advantage. You will work closely with conference producers, marketing, sales, and operations departments ensuring that the events are a success, the target audience is delivered, and our partners' expectations are met. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience from working on a number of high-profile international events attended by senior representatives of regional, UN agencies, international and regional NGOs, investors and donors, research institutes, and solution providers.
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Account management for key clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Conduct onboarding calls with partners
- Create and maintain campaign trackers, outlining deliverables and deadlines
- Create and update key resources and collateral for partners including media packs, tracking links
- Liaise with partners to ensure they are meeting their contractual obligations
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to deliver outstanding client satisfaction
- Create partnership agreements for flagship events – based on templates
- Maintain accurate records of client contact details and engagement
- Collate and distribute inbound leads
- Stay up to date with relevant news and information on key accounts
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
- A minimum of four years in an account management, operations, or sales department with a commercial conference or exhibition organiser
- Passion for sustainability (desirable but not essential)
- Proficient CRM skills
- Immediate / ASAP start - please indicate your notice / availability
