As a Senior GIS Technician, you’ll be at the heart of a thriving, future-focused consultancy, delivering cutting-edge mapping and spatial analysis across a wide spectrum of land and development projects from legal conveyancing and land registration to renewable energy, life sciences, commercial property, and local government planning.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate, high-quality maps and plans to support property transactions and land management.
- Performing data manipulation, georeferencing, and spatial analysis using advanced GIS tools.
- Creating and analysing land parcel boundaries, site layouts, and area calculations.
- Developing complex site-finding models for new development opportunities using ArcGIS Enterprise and Online.
- Delivering geospatial consultancy to clients, enhancing workflows, and identifying commercial opportunities.
- Creating interactive dashboards and web applications to communicate spatial insights.
- Supervising workflows and ensuring quality control across projects and outputs.
- Supporting team operations, including admin, WIP, SOPs, and internal processes.
Key qualifications and Experience required:
- Extensive experience using Esri’s GIS platform, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, Web App Builder, Experience Builder, and Dashboards.
- Proven ability in geospatial data management, analysis, and automation using Safe FME, Survey123, Field Maps, Quick Capture, and Spatial SQL.
- Experience working with Ordnance Survey datasets, 2D and 3D survey data, DSMs, meshes, and point clouds is highly desirable.
- A strong communicator, able to translate complex geospatial insights for diverse audiences.
- Analytical and creative mindset, with a passion for innovation and solving real-world problems with geospatial data.
