Clifton Villa Newquay and Truro are seeking a new Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our supportive, clinically driven team where we are passionate about supporting your development, interests and wellbeing! We are a well‑equipped practice set over two sites in Truro and Newquay but we will also consider a single site location. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, caring, and supportive team. We enjoy giving the best care to our patients and the best experience to our clients.

We also offer our own 24‑hour hospitalisation and out‑of‑hours team so no OOH duties will be required with this role. We are passionate about high clinical standards and host regular team meetings, clinical discussions, in‑house practical training and whole practice meetings. As well as enjoying our modern facilities, well equipped practice and a busy varied caseload.

The role will suit an experienced GP Veterinary Surgeon. You will have the ability to adapt to varying client needs; managing expectations with an empathetic approach is a key aspect in ensuring our customer service excellence. We will gladly support those wanting to pursue a certificate. We have a Surgical and Exotics AP and Medical Cert Holder in the team already and an excellent team of nurses!

Clifton Villa are a busy group located in Newquay/Truro and is commutable from Padstow, Wadebridge, Bodmin, St Austell, Redruth, Falmouth, Looe and other locations in Cornwall.

Rota: 40 hours a week. We would consider 20‑40 hours and alternative work patterns such as 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
