Full-time Veterinary Receptionist – Clifton Villa, Newquay / Part-time Veterinary Receptionist Clifton Villa, Truro

Hours: 35.8 per week / 19 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: A mix of early and late shifts on a rota basis, plus 1 in 5 Saturday half days. Full-time position with a mix of early and late shifts, plus ¼ Saturday half days. Part-time position.

At Clifton Villa Veterinary Practice, part of the CVS Group, we share your passion! We\’re looking for 2 warm, welcoming, and highly motivated individuals to join our friendly reception team in beautiful Newquay. We have one full-time position at Newquay and a part-time position at Truro.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first friendly face our clients see when they walk through our doors, and the reassuring voice they hear on the phone. You\’ll play a vital role in making every client and pet feel valued, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

About the role:

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering phones, responding to emails, and booking appointments
  • Registering new clients and updating records accurately
  • Dispensing medications and completing insurance forms
  • Processing payments and supporting debt control
  • Handling potentially sensitive or distressing situations with empathy and discretion
  • Being a key part of our client care journey and helping the practice run smoothly
