Are you an experienced residential property/conveyancing lawyer looking for high quality of work AND high quality of life?

Do you want hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to work on £multi-million HNW transactions?

This prestigious law firm was founded on a purely HNW client base and has grown over the last 40 years to become a full-service firm but retains sizeable private client and property teams. The residential property team has an outstanding reputation with top-end work referrers, both locally and via their London office and so competes with Top-tier law firms, enjoying London-quality work but based in fabulous Cotswold/Gloucestershire locations on a hybrid basis of 1 day per week in the office.

The firm has a friendly and relaxed culture of empowerment and flexibility. The partners are genuinely passionate about their “people first” culture that treats people as people – not just as numbers or revenue generators. Not surprising then that as a consequence of their culture, the firm has a strong track record of successful career development and an unparalleled retention record – only one person has left the firm in the last 10 years! (and even that person did not move to another law firm)

The continuing success of the Residential Property team and their increasing workflow, means that they have now created a brand-new opportunity of an experienced residential property solicitor to join the team. You will be part of an experienced and friendly team of c16, with you own caseload of high-value property transactions (none less than £1M and ranging up to £MM) but with the support of an experienced team around you.

So, this rare opportunity will appeal to a residential property lawyer from a larger firm who is looking for a more balanced quality of life without compromising on quality of work or alternatively a proven residential property lawyer from a non top-tier firm who is looking to move their experience up the value chain and work on HNW clients and their property.

As the ideal candidate for this opportunity, you will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor with up to 3 years of PQE in residential property
  • Be keen to develop your experience and work on high-value transactions
  • Have excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Have a strong preference for working in a friendly atmosphere in genuinely flexible and collegiate culture

Salary will be according to experience; however, the firm has a track record of successfully recruiting from top-tier law firms – so you will find the reward surprisingly competitive.
