We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, process-driven and enthusiastic Paralegal to provide essential support to the Legal Team. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in a wide range of legal and administrative tasks, contributing directly to the smooth operation of the legal function.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Assist with the drafting, review, and management of NDAs. Maintain and take responsibility for the contract database (Ironclad), ensuring accurate tracking of key terms, deadlines, and renewals. Maintain and update contract templates where necessary.
  • Legal Documentation & Research: Conduct legal research on specific topics as required. Assist in the preparation of legal documents, presentations, and reports. Organise and maintain legal files and documentation on Legal team G-drive.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Support: Support the implementation and maintenance of internal legal policies and procedures. Assist with regulatory filings and reporting as needed.
  • Corporate Secretarial Duties: Assist with company secretarial tasks, including maintaining statutory registers, preparing board minutes, and filing documents with Companies House (training provided as needed).
  • Administrative Support: Manage the legal team's calendar and scheduling. Process invoices and expenses for the legal team. Coordinate internal meetings and take minutes/notes where needed. Support with legal team administrative tasks (both legal and privacy) as required.
  • Project Support: Assist with ad-hoc legal projects as required. Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes and workflows - involving AI wherever is possible and relevant.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, ideally within a commercial environment.
  • A strong understanding of legal principles and procedures and contract Law.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with contract management software or legal document management systems is desirable.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing organisation.
  • A genuine interest in the technology sector and the legal challenges and opportunities it presents.

2 days office based in Gloucestershire HQ.
