Are you an experienced Assistant Co Sec/Co Sec Assistant who is available for a long-term contract to cover parental leave starting late July/early August? This well-established insurance provider has a friendly and down-to-earth culture and with GWP up 21% on prior year, it punches well above its weight in terms of growth.
Due to maternity cover, the GC & Company Secretary is seeking an experienced and flexible Assistant Co Sec/Co Sec Assistant for 9-12 months to cover for parental leave. In this sole company secretarial role reporting to the GC & Company Secretary, you will take key responsibility for the full range of company secretarial and governance matters across all the entities within the small group. This will include full board and committee life cycle support, entity management, filing and compliance. However, the GC is also looking for someone who can be flexible and is happy to roll their sleeves up with the odd bit of Co Sec related admin/EA work eg booking travel for NEDS etc.
As a rare, full-remote role, this opportunity offers huge flexibility. It is full-time but there is possibility of flexing hours (subject to certain core coverage) or even to do condensed weeks (eg 5 days over 4).
As the ideal candidate, you are likely to:
- Have at least 3 years of UK company secretarial experience
- Demonstrate broad ranging company secretarial skills
- Ideally have Insurance/FS experience – but this is not essential as you will have the full support of the GC.
- Have an enthusiastic and can-do approach with the flexibility to roll your sleeves up and help out with other related company secretarial admin tasks
- Be available to start end of July/early August
Salary is currently being finalised, but is likely to range up to around £65,000 depending on experience.
