Looking for an experienced Full/Part time Senior Receptionist/Assistant Manager to join our family GP practice. Who will be responsible for the smooth business and operational running of a general practice surgery.

Main duties of the job:

  • Assist aspects of the clinical rotas and non-clinical rotas
  • Manage financial aspects, NHS Pensions, and surgery supplies
  • Handle complaints and submissions to relevant bodies
  • Supervise staff and ensure operational efficiency
  • Oversee significant events and patient services
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and CQC

We are a friendly family run GP practice in West Bromwich with a branch site and three GP Partners, serving a patient list size of 5500 patients.

Job responsibilities:

  • HR - recruitment and retention of staff and personnel management
  • CQC Compliant
  • Manage staff working hours and appraisals
  • Support and mentor staff
  • Update policies
  • Arrange meetings and take minutes
  • Order surgery supplies
  • Review and update practice protocols and procedures
