Looking for an experienced Full/Part time Practice/Assistant Manager to join our family GP practice. Who will be responsible for the smooth business and operational running of a general practice surgery in Dudley.

Main duties of the job include overseeing the non-clinical and business aspects of a practice, such as:

  • Financial management
  • NHS Pensions
  • Management of surgery supplies
  • Managing complaints
  • Submissions to relevant and appropriate bodies
  • Staff supervision
  • Operational efficiency
  • Significant events and patient services
  • Ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulations

About us: We are a friendly family run GP practice in Dudley with two GP Partners and a patient list size of 4000 patients.

Job responsibilities include:

  • HR - recruitment and retention of staff and personnel management and DBS Checks
  • CQC Compliant
  • Managing Staff and Working hours
  • Staff appraisals
  • Support and mentor staff
  • Policy Updates
  • Arrange meetings and minute taking
  • Surgery supplies orders
  • Practice protocols and procedures reviewed and updated
  • Health and safety
  • Business Continuity plans
  • Arrange practice maintenance visits and insurances
  • Inductions and staff training
  • Data Protection

Qualifications:

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent
