We’re looking for a proactive Marketing & Events Executive to join our growing firm! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced and supportive Marketing Manager, delivering an ambitious and exciting marketing and business development strategy. If you’re someone with a background in marketing or events looking to take the next step in your career, or if you have experience in the legal sector and want to bring your expertise into a marketing-focused role, we’d love to hear from you. This position offers plenty of room for growth, with the chance to lead key projects independently and make your mark in a dynamic and evolving firm.
Duties include:
- Content Creation – Create, edit, and update marketing materials, client communications, and promotional content.
- Event Coordination – Support and coordinate networking events, seminars, and webinars from start to finish.
- Email Campaigns – Craft and distribute engaging newsletters and event invitations using tools such as Mailchimp.
- Market Research – Undertake research tasks to support business development and prepare insightful reports.
- Website & Social Media – Update content across the company website and social media platforms to ensure our digital presence is always fresh and engaging.
- Networking & Promotion – Promote the firm’s services and ethos at events and through collaborations with sponsors and charities.
- Supplier Liaison – Engage with external suppliers, including our digital agency, graphic designer, and call centre provider.
- Administrative Support – Assist the Marketing Manager with administrative tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll be a friendly, approachable team player who’s capable of motivating others to get involved in marketing initiatives, from events to sponsorships and charitable projects.
Key Attributes for Success in This Role:
- The ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.
- Confidence using Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Mailchimp or Tikit (or similar systems) is a bonus – but if you’re proficient in using digital tools generally, we’ll happily teach you what you need to know!
