An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a well know practice in Manchester. The varied projects they lead require a high level of technical expertise and as a result their current team is made up of as many technicians as architects. This in turn has created career opportunities for the technical team rarely seen in other places. As a national practice they've developed a reputation for producing award winning large- scale buildings across a range of sectors. The Senior Architectural Technologist will work collaboratively with the larger team, whilst taking responsibility for client relationships. The range of projects within this role will mainly be within the residential sector. As a practice they advocate work/ home life balance and encourage flexibility with their employees.
The role:
The Senior Architectural Technologist will take control of their own projects, produce technical packages and manage deadlines to ensure successful delivery. With a regular on-site presence, you'll respond to the daily challenges of the job and manage clients, consultants and contractors. The role would suit a confident and experienced technologist happy to be given a high level of autonomy.
Your skills:
With a proven track record of running medium/ large scale projects you'll be able to demonstrate a high level of technical competence. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you'll communicate daily with a range of professionals and take responsibility for client satisfaction. As the practice almost exclusively uses Revit, a working knowledge of the software would be an advantage.
