Philanthropy Manager in Bristol

Overview

Clifton College is seeking a highly motivated Philanthropy Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing our development and fundraising strategy.

Working closely with the Director of Development, you will be responsible for raising funds and managing relationships with prospects and donors, organising fundraising campaigns and delivering events.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and execute the fundraising strategy, focusing on major gifts and corporate sponsorships.
• Build and steward strong, long‑lasting relationships with prospects and high-net‑worth donors.
• Organise donor engagement and stewardship events.
• Manage gift processing and donor records using Raiser\’s Edge.
• Write compelling proposals and impact reports.

Qualifications

You are an excellent communicator with proven fundraising experience, ideally within the education or charity sector. You must have a strong knowledge of fundraising best practices, experience securing high-value gifts, and a proactive, results‑driven attitude with a passion for supporting education.
