We are looking for a multi-skilled operative to join our busy facilities team. The post holder will undertake a broad range of reactive and planned maintenance, building fabric repairs and minor refurbishment works, ensuring that facilities remain safe, compliant, operational and presented to a high standard.

The role is particularly focused on carpentry and building fabric maintenance, including the repair and maintenance of doors, locks, windows, furniture, flooring, ceilings, internal finishes and associated fixtures and fittings. Working as part of the Facilities Team, the post holder will also undertake a variety of general maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, supporting the efficient delivery of Estates services across the College.

The successful candidate must hold a recognised trade qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, Building Maintenance, Construction or equivalent practical experience and a minimum of 5 years experience maintaining doors, locks, windows, flooring, furniture and internal finishes. A full UK driving licence is required.

The hours are Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours a week.
