The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required for a long-term career within horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or estate management. Working alongside experienced members of the Grounds & Gardens Team, the post holder will gain practical experience in horticulture, grounds maintenance and landscape operations whilst contributing to a safe, attractive and welcoming environment across the College estate.
As part of a Level 2 Horticulture and Landscape Operative Apprenticeship delivered by Wiltshire College, the apprentice will combine practical workplace experience with formal study and training. Attendance at college for one day per week during term time is a mandatory requirement and candidates must be able to arrange their own transport to and from the college.
Full Time Apprenticeship, 37.5 hours per week, based on annualised hours contract. Typical Mon-Fri with Rota basis required for Spring/Summer months. Attendance at Wiltshire College one day per week during term time required.
