Clifton College is seeking to appoint energetic and enthusiastic Sports Graduate Assistants for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a premier residential opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about sport and interested in exploring a career in education or professional coaching.
The successful candidates will work within the sports department supporting our sports programs while fully immersing themselves in the pastoral life of our boarding community. This full-time, fixed-term residential role involves living on site and playing a key part in the pastoral, academic and co-curricular life of the College, including evenings and weekends. The post comes with accommodation and full board during term time.
Key Responsibilities- Sports & Coaching: Lead and assist in coaching sessions for core sports: Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Cricket, and Tennis. Officiate at school fixtures and travel with teams to away matches. Support the Academic and Co-Curriculum departments in the delivery of curriculum lessons. Assist in the Strength and Conditioning (S&C) programs for student-athletes.
- Pastoral & Boarding: Reside within a designated Boarding House and act as a mentor to pupils. Carry out evening and weekend duties to support Housemasters/Housemistresses. Contribute to the "Clifton Spirit" by organizing house activities and social events.
- School Life: Act as a professional role model for all pupils. Support school events, including Open Days and Sports Tours.

- Experience: A strong playing or coaching background in at least one or two of our core sports (Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Cricket, and Tennis)
