Take the next step in your teaching career at Clifton College with this exciting opportunity for a Second in Mathematics Department, available from September 2026. This role is offered alongside a Teacher of Mathematics position and provides the chance to play a key role in shaping the delivery of Mathematics across Years 9 to 11.
Working closely with the Head of Department, you will help drive high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring schemes of work are innovative, well-resourced, and effectively implemented across the key stages. In addition to outstanding classroom practice, you will bring strong organisational and leadership skills, supporting the coordination of assessments, pupil tracking, and enrichment opportunities such as UKMT competitions and wider mathematical events.
You will also contribute to departmental leadership through line management responsibilities and by deputising for the Head of Department when required.
