Job Description

The role of the Global Marketing & Communications Lead will drive development and delivery of the global marketing and communications strategy and programmes for the priority clients, sectors, and products, with a focus on our disputes offering, energy & infrastructure, and ESG. This position will act as a business partner to the leaders of these priority areas, leveraging multiple marketing and communications disciplines (media relations, brand building, digital marketing, internal communications) to directly contribute to the firm's growth ambition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a strategic adviser to partners and Business Development teams on communications matters and marketing campaigns relating to products/sectors.
  • Developing and articulating clear, compelling messaging and value propositions aligned with the firm’s global positioning.
  • Identifying and positioning key themes and delivering integrated internal and external communications campaigns.
  • Ensuring alignment across regions and practice areas while maintaining a consistent global narrative.
  • Coordinating with internal and external communications, digital and design teams to ensure joined-up delivery.

Day to day activity will include:

  • Developing an integrated communications and marketing strategy based on product or sector growth priorities.
  • Establishing and embedding compelling global messaging to appropriately position the firm's offering.
  • Working with the business development and thought leadership teams to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Advising internal clients on the value of marketing opportunities including sponsorship opportunities and participation in industry conferences.
  • Identifying metrics for evaluating the success of our activity.

Qualifications

Your experience should include:

  • A strong commercial acumen and understanding of how marketing and communications programmes support revenue generation.
  • A strong understanding and direct experience across marketing, communications, and brand management.
  • The ability to work seamlessly with adjacent functions to deliver high value, strategic and data-driven campaigns.
  • A collaborative approach to working and an ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • An international mindset and ability to work across multiple markets and sectors.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $212,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
