Platform Engineer (AWS Kubernetes HA) St Albans / WFH to £115k Are you an infrastructure technologist with a software engineering background? As a Platform Engineer you will collaborate with a small team to build and operate the platform underpinning its trading platforms, while developing the tools and services that enable software engineers to develop, build, test and deploy applications efficiently. You'll join a highly impactful Platform Engineering team working at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure and developer experience. The team plays a central role in embracing AI, evolving engineering tools and processes to better support both developers and AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle. There's a broad and modern technology estate including AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis / Valkey, HAProxy, Consul, Grafana, OpenSearch and Terraform, alongside development technologies including C# .Net, Python, Node.js, Bash and PowerShell. CI/CD tooling includes Azure DevOps Pipelines and ArgoCD. Location / WFH: You'll join colleagues in St. Albans, Hertfordshire (parking available), 10 minute walk from local station, with the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week in a hybrid model and flexible working hours within the core 0730-1730.
