As Director of Engineering you'll define and champion the software engineering vision, embedding modern development practices, improving delivery quality and helping engineering teams build faster, more reliably and at greater scale. You'll help solve the organisation's most complex technical challenges, evolve engineering standards and ensure products remain secure, scalable and resilient.

Alongside technical leadership, you'll play a key role in developing engineering capability, partnering with Engineering Managers and Technical Leaders to build high performing teams, mentor future leaders and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll also drive engineering performance through meaningful metrics, improving delivery predictability, software quality, operational efficiency and technical maturity while reducing technical debt and enabling teams to deliver value at pace.

Location / WFH: There's a flexible work from home hybrid model, you'll join colleagues in the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings with the other three days work from home.
