Are you a Python technologist with experience of Front Office trading environments? You could be progressing your career on the Asset Management side of a global Japanese bank as they expand this product offering within the UK.
As a Senior Python Developer you will take ownership of a Greenfield trading systems build, in an impactful role that will directly affect the PnL and success of the business. You will design, build and maintain highly performant, robust, scalable trading systems including cloud infrastructure, collaborating with front, middle and back office teams to discover requirements and deliver technical solutions that drive business growth.
You will lead and deliver high profile software projects and champion best practices in software engineering, DevOps and cloud architecture across the wider technology team.
Location / WFH: You will be based in the London, Bank office three days a week with flexibility to work from home twice a week.
About you:
- You have advanced backend Python development skills
- You have a strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD, Containerisation
- You are comfortable with occasional front end work
- You have experience of owning the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, are proactive in bringing solutions to problems identified
- You have experience of working in Front Office trading environments
- You are pragmatic with great communication skills
