Are you a senior Infrastructure Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of Windows? You could be progressing your career at one of the world's oldest Hedge Funds with $10 billion under management, based in amazing offices with free onsite gym as well as other perks such as catered lunches and the flexibility to work from home once a week.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and management of the company's IT infrastructure including Windows Server administration and troubleshooting
- 3rd line support
- Network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers)
- Voice and video hardware and software
- Assisting with on-prem and cloud compute infrastructure (Azure)
Location: You'll join colleagues in the London office, with some flexibility around start and finish times and one day a week work from home.
About you:
- Strong Windows Systems Administration experience (Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtualisation, Backup services, etc.) within a finance environment
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python or similar
- Experience with application packaging and deployment
- Good understanding of basic networking concepts and switching
- Process orientated yet able to think creatively and problem solve
- Collaborative team member with great communication skills
- Ideally Azure cloud based experience, familiar with IaC tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Cloud Formation
- Degree educated, 2.1 or above, Computer Science preferred although this isn’t necessary if you have the right skills and experience
