Do you have data expertise combined with technical leadership skills? You could be progressing your career in a hands-on leadership role at a tech-driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.
As a Senior Data Engineer you will design, build and maintain reliable data pipelines and integrations using Python and SQL and will take a lead role in the design and development of a Greenfield Snowflake based data platform for the Investment side of the business. You'll help make the technical and design choices and contribute to the longer-term data vision, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll also provide technical project leadership, coaching and mentoring to a small, talented team.
Location / WFH: There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days in the London office per week where you'll join a supportive, diverse team environment with a large range of facilities.
About you:
- You have strong data engineering experience, with advanced SQL skills
- You have experience of building or migrating to Snowflake data platform
- You have Python (and ideally C#) programming skills
- You have experience with data modelling, ETL pipelines and data integration
- You have a good knowledge of Dagster, Airflow or similar orchestration tool
- You're collaborative and pragmatic with great stakeholder communication skills
