Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements
- Minimum 2.1 BSc degree from a top tier university in Computer Science or a similar technical/scientific discipline
- Minimum A A B grades at A-level
- Commercial Data Engineering experience with a strong understanding of modern data engineering best practices
- Experience with Databricks; Azure experience is ideal
- Proficiency in SQL and technologies such as Apache Spark, Python, including PySpark and Pandas
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities
- Work closely with front office teams to understand and define their data needs
- Contribute to the ongoing development and operation of the firms data platform
- Analyse and automate data-related processes to streamline workflows
- Build and maintain data pipelines from various external providers
- Ensure seamless integration of high-quality data into the firms core platform
- Curate and manage both internal and external datasets for analytical and operational support
- Design and implement best-practice data models and architectures
- Establish and enforce data standards and quality controls to maintain data integrity and reliability
