Market Data Analyst (Python SQL) Newcastle onsite to 120k Are you a Market Data Analyst with a strong understanding of financial data platforms and a passion for solving complex problems?You could be progressing your career at a well funded Fin Tech start-up, backed by an established Hedge Fund, where you'll play a key role in building and supporting the market data services that underpin sophisticated trading and investment systems.
As a Market Data Analyst, you'll become the subject matter expert for market data across multiple asset classes, working closely with traders, technologists and quantitative teams to ensure the timely delivery, integrity and optimisation of critical financial data.
Your work will span everything from supporting enterprise market data platforms such as Bloomberg to delivering automation, analytics and strategic projects using Python and SQL.
Location: You'll join colleagues in brand new Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday), working hours 0900-1800 with some flexibility.
The offices are well equipped and offer fantastic views across the City and the local countryside, many employees walk or cycle in (onsite showers available!).
About you: You have an outstanding record of academic achievement - 1.1, first class degree in Computer Science (or closely related discipline) from a top tier university (i. e.
