Are you a bright, ambitious DevOps Engineer looking for an opportunity to progress your career? You could be joining a language translator tech company. As a DevOps Engineer you will design and manage the AWS infrastructure (using EC2, IAM, ECS, VPC, Route53, S3, Lambda, and RDS), implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with modular and reusable code, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions and containerise applications using Docker and managing the lifecycle via Docker Hub, ECR, ECS, Fargate, and EKS. Other responsibilities will include administering Ubuntu Linux systems including package management, networking, and security hardening.
Location: You will join the team in Central Manchester offices three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
About you:
- You have experience in a similar DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or Platform engineering role.
- You have hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
- You’re proficient in Git, CI/CD and have a good understanding of Docker and Containerisation.
- You have experience within a Linux environment.
- You’re degree educated, Computer Science preferred.
- You’re collaborative and keen to learn.
