Your role:
As a Software Developer you will join a cross functional Agile product team responsible for high-value business critical betting execution systems. You will be building systems to manage large datasets which can process updates in real-time with high throughput and low latency; these systems are released with high frequency with technology choices that are continuously evolving.
There is a focus on backend development with C# .Net and Kubernetes however you will work across the full stack, using TypeScript and React on the client side. You will take ownership of projects and collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers as well as business stakeholders, continually learning, assessing new technologies and making recommendations within a flat structure.
Location / WFH:
You will be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef with flexibility to work from home once a week (please note that during probation you will be required onsite five days a week).
About you:
- You are degree educated in a STEM discipline, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics preferred, 2.1 or above from a top tier university (e.g. Russel Group, Oxbridge, World top 100)
- You have C# serverside development skills, including .Net Core and multi-threading
- You have a good knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
- You have a good understanding of CQRS and Event Driven systems
- You are commercially aware and keen to understand the business impact of what you do
- You have excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
- Ideally you will have an interest in sports with an understanding of betting
