Salary: Β£40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements
- Strong experience in security engineering or security operations within a Microsoft environment
- Hands-on experience across Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra or IAM, Endpoint Security, Security Operations or Incident Response, Access Reviews and Access Management, Data Security, and Purview
- Experience working with an outsourced SOC or managed security provider
- Technically strong, pragmatic, and keen to improve things with the ability to learn and take ownership
- Collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own and operate security controls across endpoint, network, identity, and data security
- Work extensively across the Microsoft security ecosystem, including Microsoft Defender
- Manage and improve endpoint security and, ideally, email security
- Own Microsoft Entra access management and access review cycles
- Improve and automate identity and access management processes
- Develop the organisations approach to data security
- Act as a key link between the SOC and internal Infrastructure and Security teams
- Improve security tooling, processes, and operational maturity
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure and wider technology teams to strengthen our overall security posture
