Are you a cloud security technologist looking for an opportunity to progress your career in a senior, hands-on role within a collaborative, diverse team environment? You could be joining a fast-growing, VC-backed multi-product technology company.
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer you will design and implement robust, forward-thinking security strategies, policies and procedures to safeguard the business' systems, networks and data, collaborating as part of the wider platform engineering team with a focus on cloud security (AWS and GCP). You will take a lead on regular security assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify risks and deploy effective remediation measures, monitor systems, networks, and logs then investigate security breaches, incidents and other cybersecurity events. You will also oversee compliance for regulatory requirements, such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR and ensure systems adhere to these standards. You will be part of a fast-paced, inclusive team that values creativity, curiosity and impact.
Location / WFH: There is a flexible hybrid model, you will meet up with colleagues once a week in the London office but can work from home most of the time.
About You:
- You have deep Cloud Security knowledge and experience, with AWS expertise and ideally also some GCP experience.
- You have Python programming skills.
- You have hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners and other security technologies that protect systems.
- You enjoy problem solving, identifying vulnerabilities and evaluating threats.
- You are a data driven decision maker.
- You have experience in a product, SaaS or technology based company.
- You are collaborative and pragmatic with great communication and stakeholder management skills.
