Are you a tech savvy Sales Development Representative? You could be progressing your career at a successful scale-up software house. As a Sales Development Representative you will cover a wide range of vertical markets including mobile operators, handset vendors, Automotive OEMs and equipment suppliers in the UK and Europe.
You'll be working closely with the management team, shaping business strategy, establishing strong and trusting relationships with key partners, preparing compelling value propositions and customer proposals, developing business models, negotiating commercial terms and closing deals. There is also considerable scope for innovation and introducing new product ideas.
Location / WFH: There's a hybrid work from home model with two days a week in the Cambridge office. There are also opportunities for worldwide travel to trade shows and exhibitions to drive customer engagement; you may also need to visit client sites in the UK and Europe from time to time (approx. x2 per quarter, expenses paid).
About you:
- You have experience of selling software / technology products to global clients.
- You're tech savvy, able to build a strong understanding of the product, understand the client's requirements and how the solution can meet their needs.
- You're a skilled communicator, able to cultivate consultative business relationships.
- You are familiar with software licensing agreements (SLA).
- You're degree educated in a STEM discipline, Computer Science preferred.
- Ideally you will have a second language as you'll be selling to global customers across the world; it would be great to have automotive knowledge although it's not essential.
