Salary: Β£28,000 - 49,000 per year
Requirements:
- Degree educated with a 2.1 or above in Computer Science, or a similar STEM discipline, from a top tier university
- Strong A-level results
- Commercial Java development experience
- Familiarity with Agile processes and TDD
- Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms
- Previous exposure to Scala, Kotlin, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, or Linux would be beneficial but is not essential
- Collaborative with good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Join a small team with a focus on backend Java development and exposure across the full tech stack
- Work on projects across the business including trading systems, marketplace, website, payments, and automated trading bots
- Use and expand skills across technologies including Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and AWS
- Choose the best tool for the job in a friendly Agile team environment
