Engineering Manager Python – Italian SpeakingRemote UK. Salary up to £90,000.

Your roleAs an Engineering Manager you will head up a small, cross‐functional team and be responsible for the delivery and technical quality of all features and applications in that area as well as the teams\’ personal development. You\’ll guide the definition of the technical roadmap, ensuring that the system complies with software engineering standards for maintainability, reliability, scalability and security; supporting the team to ensure they can deliver on time, managing resources and removing blockers, and providing training and career development paths to drive continuous improvement.

About you

Strong software engineering background with Python on AWS, data‐centric development

Technical leader, able to create a culture of software engineering excellence

Ability to conduct code reviews and provide coaching and mentoring

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence others and explain complex technical information

Delivery‐focused with experience managing technical projects

Commercial acumen

Fluent Italian and English language skills

Degree‐educated in a technical or scientific discipline, Computer Science preferred
