Are you a bright, ambitious Systems Administrator with a strong knowledge of Windows and Active Directory? You could be progressing your career at a global Asset Manager with c$3 million under management. As a Junior Systems Administrator you will be a key member of a small team responsible for the firm’s IT infrastructure with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, continual learning and self-development opportunities. Typically you'll be working on maintaining both onsite and offsite Windows servers, monitoring in-house software applications, administering Active Directory and Group policy and managing storage systems including NAS and iSCSI.

Location: You'll be based in plush City office on a fulltime basis, Monday to Friday.

About you

  • You're degree educated
  • You have commercial experience in a similar SysAdmin role, ideally within a finance environment
  • You have a strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Active Directory
  • You have a good working knowledge of SQL and can script (with PowerShell ideally)
  • You're familiar with Networking, Hyper-V virtualisation and have experience of building custom machines
  • You're collaborative, with great communication skills
  • You're naturally curious, use technology in your own time and are keen to learn
