Java Developer Full Stack - SC Clearance
Location: Glasgow / WFH
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum + bonus + benefits
Do you have strong Java skills combined with full stack development experience? You could be progressing your career at a scaling technology company that produces software solutions for the defence and civil aviation sector.
As a Java Developer, you will design and develop client-based features and enhancements, working across the full technology stack on confidential projects. You'll use a range of technology with a focus on Java, Spring Boot and Angular within a microservices environment using TDD and SOLID design principles in a collaborative, diverse team environment.
About you:
- You have strong Java backend development skills, ideally including Spring Boot.
- You have front end experience with Angular or another JavaScript framework e.g. React, Vue.
- You have a good knowledge of databases and SQL.
- You have a good understanding of microservices, TDD / BDD, SOLID design principles, DevOps, CI/CD.
- You're collaborative and pragmatic, happy to take ownership and work with other Engineers, Data Scientists and DevOps.
- You're degree educated in Computer Science (or closely related STEM discipline).
Please note: You must have SC Clearance (or ability to achieve it - i.e. you must be a British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK) due to the nature of the project / client.
