You could be progressing your career as a Front End Engineer at a well-established AI company acting as a tech incubator within the World Economic Forum to tackle issues like climate change, AI, battery technology and other real world problems.
As a Front End Engineer you will design and develop new features and enhancements on the core product that uses Artificial Intelligence to harness knowledge for strategic advantage. You will work alongside a talented team contributing ideas, collaborating with designers and prototyping new features. There is a modern tech stack, you will be mainly using JavaScript / TypeScript and React but will be able to pick new technologies and skills up on the job.
Location / WFH: You will be joining a friendly and supportive team in London with flexibility to work from home one day a week.
About you:
- You are degree educated in Computer Science, from a top tier university (e.g. Russell Group, Oxbridge).
- You have TypeScript experience combined with strong React skills; React Native would also be great but you can pick it up on the job.
- You are proficient with HTML5 and CSS3.
- You have experience of responsive design for desktop and mobile.
- You are keen to work in a start-up environment.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You are a passionate technologist, keep up to date with the latest innovations and learn new things.
- You have solid knowledge of software engineering principles, Agile practices, CI/CD and ideally have experience within a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
- You are a bright, proactive individual and a strong problem solver with commercial acumen.
