Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE Python AWS) Manchester / WFH to £85k
Do you have strong backend Python and AWS skills combined with client facing experience?
You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer role at a technology start-up that is producing a software suite for legal firms that massively reduces para-legal workloads, they have seen huge interest in the product and have a lot of greenfield development work to get stuck into.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will collaborate closely with clients, taking ownership of client bespoke projects end-to-end with a focus on building cloud based applications / systems using Python and AWS. You\’ll work fairly independently, make technical decisions and see the results of your work quickly.
Location / WFH:
You\’ll join a small but growing team based in Central Manchester three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
About you:
- You have experience of working directly with clients and taking ownership of client bespoke development work
- You have strong Python back end development skills
- You have experience with AWS including Amazon CDK
- You have a strong understanding of DevOps principles
- You have full software development lifecycle experience and a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices
- You have good business acumen, with experience of working in start-ups or SMEs
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
