Data Developer (SQL PostgreSQL MySQL Markit EDM) *Newcastle onsite* to ÂŁ120k
Are you an ambitious Data Developer with an outstanding record of academic achievement?
You could be progressing your career at a start-up Investment Management firm that have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner.
As a Data Developer you\’ll be integral to Markit EDM development and optimisation, ensuring that teams across the business get the vital Market Data that they require to trade. You\’ll be supported by the team in London in a collaborative, start-up team environment, with plenty of learning and career development opportunities.
Location / WFH:
You\’ll join colleagues in Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis.
About You
- You have an academic record of achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top tier university, Computer Science or similar technical / scientific discipline, backed by minimum A, A, B grades at A-level
- You have strong SQL database development experience
- You have a strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, T-SQL
- You also have experience with a software engineering language, C# preferred but any OO programming language is fine
- Experience with Markit EDM would be great but not essential, you can learn it on the job
- You\’re collaborative with great communication skills, excited to join a start-up in a role that you can shape and influence
