Requirements
- Java development skills including multi-threading and concurrency
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices environments
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging tools
- Good knowledge of REST APIs
- Good understanding of AWS
- Thorough understanding of software development and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns
- Familiarity with Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborative approach, with enjoyment of problem solving and client interaction
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver a range of transformational projects for our clients, mainly within the financial services sector
- Focus on Kafka messaging, migrating legacy systems to AWS, and introducing CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
- Work within a collaborative team with a focus on engineering best practice and continuous improvement of client systems
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, with regular business and client exposure
