Requirements
- We are looking for someone with experience in a similar Security Manager role in a start-up or scale-up environment.
- We need hands‑on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, network security tools, query writing, and alert tuning.
- We need experience implementing and managing Purview DLP solutions.
- We need experience monitoring and responding to security events in cloud environments, ideally AWS and/or Azure.
- We need a strong understanding of security operations, threat detection, and incident response.
- We need a good knowledge of security standards and regulatory compliance requirements, including ISO and NIST.
- We need experience with third‑party risk management and supplier assurance.
- We need familiarity with penetration testing processes and remediation tracking.
- We need a good understanding of network security principles, including cloud‑based environments.
- We value a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
- Experience with OT, physical security, or critical infrastructure would be beneficial but is not essential.
Responsibilities
- We will expect you to take ownership of protecting critical cloud platforms and strengthening our security posture as security is brought in‑house.
- We will rely on you to monitor and respond to security events across Microsoft Sentinel, EDR, DLP, and network security technologies.
- We need you to investigate incidents and drive continuous improvements across our security estate.
- We will ask you to implement and fine‑tune DLP controls.
- We will expect you to support penetration testing and third‑party security assessments.
- We need you to evaluate new security technologies.
- We will have you work closely with external SOC providers and internal engineering teams.
- We will expect you to contribute to cyber resilience initiatives and security awareness programmes.
- We need you to ensure security controls align with recognised frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
