Are you a backend focussed Software Engineer with experience of working on financial Risk systems? You could be progressing your career in a hands-on Software Engineer role at the Investment Management arm of a global bank.

Your role:
As a Software Engineer you'll take ownership of Risk systems for the UK business. You'll collaborate with Quants and other Front Office users to understand the systems and look at ways to make improvements, optimising performance, ensuring the platform is secure and seeking ways to introduce modern tooling for building and deployment. You'll have a focus on backend C++, with some Python development work.
About you:
- You have strong C++ backend software engineering skills and also have Python development experience
- You have experience within a banking / finance environment with a strong understanding of Risk systems and technology, ideally having worked with Delta Ladder calculations
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical or numerate discipline
