Are you a bright, ambitious Systems Administrator with a top class education combined with a strong knowledge of Windows and Active Directory? You could be progressing your career at a global Asset Manager with c$3 million under management. As a Junior SysAdmin you will be a key member of a small team responsible for the firms IT infrastructure with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, continual learning and self-development opportunities.
Typically, you will be working on:
- Maintaining both onsite and offsite Windows servers
- Monitoring in-house software applications
- Administering Active Directory and Group policy
- Managing storage systems including NAS and iSCSI
Location: You will be based in a plush City office on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
About you:
- You are degree educated in a STEM discipline from a top tier university, Computer Science preferred
- You have commercial experience in a similar SysAdmin role within a finance environment
- You have a strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Active Directory
- You have a good working knowledge of SQL and can script (with PowerShell ideally)
- You are familiar with Networking, Hyper-V virtualisation and have experience of building custom machines
- You are collaborative, with great communication skills
- You are naturally curious, use technology in your own time and are keen to learn
