Are you a bright, ambitious Software Engineer with a strong grounding in Computer Science combined with commercial C++ development experience? You could be progressing your career at a small, specialist Medical Technology company that produces medical research software and applications.

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will design, develop and maintain new features and enhancements on the core products, written in C++, running on Windows, as well as working on data importers. You'll have exposure across the development lifecycle including assisting with testing of new software releases. There's a small team environment where you learn and develop your skills.

Location: You'll be based at the North Cambridge office on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday - there is parking available and a train station within a 15 minute walk.

About you:

  • You are degree educated, Computer Science (or closely related discipline preferred), with a good understanding of mathematics.
  • You have commercial C++ development experience (this may have been gained as an internship or placement).
  • You have a thorough understanding of CompSci fundamentals such as OOP, data structures, design patterns, algorithms.
  • You are collaborative and enjoy problem solving.
