C++ Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Linux SQL) London / WFH to £110k

Are you a backend focused C++ Software Engineer looking for an opportunity to progress your career, working on complex and interesting systems where you can see the impact of your work?

You could be joining a global leading FinTech and taking ownership of strategic enhancements on their core platform, as well as directly on bespoke client projects.

Your role:

As a C++ Software Engineer, you\’ll design and develop client bespoke technical solutions, meeting user requirements and contributing to the evolution of the cutting edge platform. You\’ll be working with modern C++ (C++14 and above) on Linux, building complex systems for cross asset securities and derivatives post-trade processing solutions.

Location / WFH:

You\’ll join colleagues in the London office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

About you:

• You have strong C++ development experience on Linux or UNIX, C++14 and above
• You have good SQL skills
• You\’re a passionate technologist who is motivated by working on cutting-edge systems and engineering complex solutions
• You\’re a positive, proactive team member who excels when working collaboratively
• You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
• You\’re degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in a STEM discipline
• Ideally you will have experience working in a financial services or trading environment although technical skills of far greater importance
