Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net AWS API) Nottingham / WFH to £70k
Are you a Backend Software Engineer who enjoys problem solving and optimising systems?
You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands on role at a tech company that provides a range of SaaS software solutions.
As a Backend Software Engineer you\’ll collaborate closely with the CTO to establish a new team that will manage incident response, solving and fixing any issues that occur and creating processes that help to ensure they won\’t happen again. You\’ll collaborate with Agile tribes to make improvements and address technical debt.
This is a great opportunity to take on a role that you shape and make a real impact on improvements across the technical division, inputting into technical strategy and decision making.
Please note due to the nature of the role there is an on-call requirement (with additional pay / time off in lieu).
Location / WFH:
There\’s a hybrid work from home policy, you\’ll need to meet up with the team for constructive meetings twice a quarter in the Nottingham office.
About You
- You have strong software development skills with C# .Net, SQL Server and AWS
- You have experience with solution and technical design of multi-tier, distributed scalable .Net solutions
- You have a strong knowledge of event driven microservices
- You have advanced technical documentation skills
- You have excellent problem solving and analysis skills
- You have excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
